ATTIC INSULATION

·       Measures the square foot of the attic to determine how much insulation you need for code requirements. Code requirements for this area is 14.5" R-38.

·       We will count your recessed lights and apply a barrier around each one to keep the insulation off of the heated electric keeping your home safe of any electrical faults.

·       We install barriers or baffles to the vented areas of your soffits to keep the any insulation from blocking air ventilation.

·       We install attic rulers to show an even flow of insulation is applied to your attic to see that proper R-Values are applied.

·       We will run a 150’ by 3” hose through the nearest access to the attic.

·       Blow in no less than an R-Value of 38 (14.5”) of insulation finished in your attic. Using CertainTeed True Comfort Insulation.

·       Install attic cards stating your R-Value when insulated and how much insulation was applied.

·       We clean up our work.

Crawl Space Insulation with CertainTeed Roll Insulation

 ·     Vapor Barrier of 6 mil poly to be added and staked in to the ground for a tight fit.

 ·       In the Crawl Space, if needed, will remove old insulation and/or add with CertainTeed Batt Insulation to an R-19 value.
